When you're being chased and on the brink of death, you'd better hope your magical defense items work – in this case, it didn't. Oglaf is a webcomic that updates every Sunday and satirizes the fantasy and gaming genre and will often have you laughing out loud!

Department of Contingency by Evil Inc.
This on-going, and frequently updated, webcomic is about a silver-age super villain, Evil Atom, turned business man as he runs a corporation: Evil Inc. Written and illustrated by Brad Guigar, this webcomic is a satirical and hilarious look at the comic book genre and super heroes. While often using its own created characters, it will often humorously use iconic characters such as Superman and Spiderman. You can follow Guigar and Evil Inc on twitter here.

#300 – Stage Four by Super Fogeys
Brock Heasley announced with the 300th posting of Super Fogeys that he will no longer be writing and illustrating Super Fogeys – a comic about aged and retired super heroes/villains and their successors. In this touching episode of SF in which a super villain learns he has stage four cancer and befriends his long-time nemesis. It was a milestone for the characters and creator, Brock. Now, with new artist Marc Lapierre, the comic is updating more frequently as the new schedule is Monday, Wednesday and Friday. You can follow Brock, Marc and Super Fogeys on twitter here.

Gabrielle Bell is an amazing artist and story teller and has been working online and independent comics for the past decade. Her autobiographical webcomic is a well told story that is amusing, touching and interesting as she currently lives in New York and incorporates her experiences and friends into a good narrative. This particular posting was amusing, funny and embedded with a honest sense of reality. You can follow Gabrielle Bell on twitter here. NOTE: This is not the full posting, but a highlighted panel.

Us Guys Here In Space. Spaceguys. by Three Word Phrase
Ryan Pequin has tapped into the brilliance of writing obscure and non-sequitur comics. This post is relatable, if you're knee-deep in student loans, work hard and like space (3/19/11 was the SUPER MOON!). Yeah there’s more to Oglaf then just making fun of fantasy gaming…..Stuff I can’t say because it’ll get me banned on the luridness of it.
Spaceguys was one of the funniest things i have seen in a while.
