Oh! That Batman by Sean Murphy and that Spes by Cooke! Wow!
^ what he said! 😀
Batman 1972 – gimme gimme gimme!!!
I would read that comic all day you jive turkey!
If DC had any balls they would snatch up that concept and start work on this as an Else Worlds… I don’t care if they hire Jeff Loeb to plagiarize The French Connection to do it – just do it.
I don’t want to live in a world where Batman 1972 doesn’t exist.
The ’70s – way cooler in the 2010s than they were in the ’70s.
I want a world where Batman 1972 teams up with Afrodisiac. Or Shaft.
Shut yo mouth!
Pork Chop Sandwiches!!!
You are my hero
“Who is that on the phone blowtorch?”
“Some guy who says.. he’s the viper..” -Blowtorch (in whatever upper East Coast accent that was supposed to be.”
Blowtorch is Irish.
So… GI Joe casts an Irishman as a pyro expert? Am I the only one to now find that somewhat… hmmm… ?
Josh did you even need to look that up? If not that is epic.
Hey wait a minute. Wiki says he’s from Tampa Florida. http://gijoe.wikia.com/wiki/Blowtorch_(RAH)
In the cartoon they gave him an Irish accent.
I always thought he was from Boston. oooooh right, reading Josh below. I got em (or their voices) confused too.
Barbecue is the one from Boston. He’s the firefighter. I didn’t need to look that up, but I did get them mixed up the other day.
That Downton Abbey sketch looks like something out of Mad Magazine. In a good way! Like, if you ever see stuff by Mort Drucker that is what Panosian’s sketch reminds me of.
Love that Hellboy! Looks like he’s being attacked by a Cthlhuhu.
