While it’s virtually identical to the full domestic trailer we saw earlier this month, this new international trailer for Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man offers a few new snippets of Spidey in action. Plus some provocative French captions. I think. I took art class for four years and only know “juice bottle Spanish.”
Is it July 3rd yet? Hey, isn’t that Bastille Day? No, that’s the 14th. Well, it’ll still be in theaters then. Where was I going with this?

It’s silly to translate names like that. Batman is Batman, so is Robin, Nightwing, Iron Man, etc.
The Avengers are translated though, they’re called “Les Vengeurs”. But the X-Men are still the X-Men for some reason.
So all in all, the name of the superheroes aren’t translated, the team names are, fuck me why: I dunno! 0_o
