Its not even that its poor Batman its more that it is poor stage action and coreography. The actors just are not coming across as honed in the art in anyway (they shift on their feet, the golden rule of theatre is every motion has to be in character and justified and if it is in role then it has to be grand. Little shifts to reposition themselves or whatever just break the already flimsy fourth wall). The coreography is one thing in terms of campness and out of characterness but as for theatre fight scenes its a major shame someone better didnt handle.
I believe that all the actors and performers were amateurs picked from the public. I think so anyway.
If this doesn’t kill the comic book musical craze, I’ll pay good money to see what does.

I made it to 1:39. Then I started having flashbacks. I coulda done without this Paul.

The audio track must be pre-recorded. The mouths were more out of synch than a dubbed anime episode.
That’s not Marty, Paul! It’s Captain N from the old Nintendo cartoons. Anyway, Batman is really good at the karates and stuff.
The entrance for the joker was kinda fun. There were no laughs though. why dont you laugh joker?!

Was this video shot at a rehearsal? I didn’t hear any applause, laughs, cheers… nothing. It didn’t sounds like a direct feed off the board, so if there was an audience I would expect some kind of reaction. Unless it’s… really that crappy…
Kind of reminds me of a Batman-themed water stunt show at Marine World in Vallejo………Except the water stunt show was better……………..Yeesh.
Well I can finally say that this isn’t for me.
But how awesome would it be if it was a Batman/Back to the Future crossover show?
I kept saying “batman, why are you letting yourself get outnumbered like that. stop letting those clowns out of joker’s head!”. then i realised this was clooney batman and it was pointless.
this isn’t like ‘turn off the dark’, i’m pretty sure this is meant to be directed solely at 6 yr olds, who won’t really give a shit about the poor acting/choreography, they’ll just go bat shit crazy for batman zipping around in the air and beating up back-up dancers?

And powerout- this was billed as an experience for the whole family
