‘Ultimate Spider-Man’ – S01E07 – “Exclusive”

Well, this is a good weekend for The Hulk to appear.

Here’s how “Exclusive” is described:

Spider-Man finally agrees to a video interview with Mary Jane and she gets the exclusive scoop when she records Spider-Man and Hulk in an all-out battle across Manhattan until Zzzax attacks the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier.

I look forward to your thoughts, opinions, gripes, live-blogging, etc.

Comments

  1. This was my favorite episode yet but seemed a little out place with rest of the series.

  2. Not a huge fan of the show, but I still watch it every week. This was one of my favorite episodes; seems like it would make a good theme park simulation ride. Had a real Cloverfield vibe to it. Also, the absence of Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Nova, and White Tiger made me realize that I really don’t like any of them. I figured I didn’t like the show because I wasn’t part of the target demographic, but I think it’s really because of those four.

    • I was thinking about the absence of the other 4 as well. Maybe if the show was just Spider-man occasionally being trained by Fury and teaming up with someone, I’d like it a bit better.

    • I like the choice of using not so house hold name characters as his friends/allies but haven’t watched this series yet to see if it works….its kinda like them returning to the old Spiderman and his Amazing Friends series with Iceman and Firestar, I love Nova and Iron Fist in the comics but don’t know how they’re portraying them in this show other than being teens.

  3. This was probably my favorite of the episodes shown so far. Maybe because there weren’t really any cutaways. Loved the bonding between Spidey and Hulk.

Anybody else notice that even though Spider-man said he took out the memory card for the camera, the icon for the memory card (that which was about full) was still on the screen even when thrown at Zzax?

  4. I just realized today that the news ticker is a place for inside jokes. Anyone else notice the “Doctor Druid” mention?
