We meet Iron Man this week. It’ll be interesting to see how they handle him vs. the version in The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes!.
Here’s how “Flight of the Iron Spider” is described:
When Spider-Man meets his idol Iron Man, he receives a specialized gift: the Iron-Spider suit. However, when Spider-Man tries to master the suit’s abilities, the relationship the web-slinger has with his team is put on the line by the relationship he is developing with the armored Avenger. Spider-Man must also deal with the Living Laser.

i tried to like this show, I really did. But this version of Spider man is just horrible. Since when is Spider man on a team? Let alone a team of Marvel b-listers? Yeah, Spider-Man’s actually been on teams before, but I do agree with your love of Spectacular Spider-Man. That was a great show. Still, I’m liking Ultimate Spider-Man so far. My favorite episode to this point has been the Doctor Doom one.
Spectacular Spider-Man was fan-DAMN-tastic, which to ME doesn’t take ANYTHING away from USM. Me and my kiddos find it fun. Both in humor & action. But i completely see how a lot of people can and will be turned off by it. It has a very overbearing sense of humor.
“Ultimate” Spider-Man is misleading. I see it’s merits, but don’t see any Bendis influence at all.
Wasn’t there a few moments of them sitting, eating and bantering in the cafeteria?
I really enjoyed the Spider-Ham appearance. Wasn’t expecting that.
Was that the first appearance of Spider-Ham in another medium? Or was he in a video game at one point?

This show is getting up there. I am probably the only one but I like the team thing, they are working for me. I am not happy with all the gadgets and suits. I like the black suit and original. Not to fond of the spider bike but i get it. DC is still kicking Marvels ass with the animation but Marvel has got some good ideas.
I can verify that the upcomIng episode written by Bendis takes this show to a whole new level of awesome.
They played it at the marvel tv panel at C2E2 and it brought the house down (it is absolutely hilarious, trust me)

Most of the cartoon shows of yesteryear had amazing or catchy opening music montages.Thats usually what got me to get hooked on the show. Batman Beyond, Spectacular Spider-man, X-men Evolution.etc, are examples of this. But, the recent ones barely have an opening theme (apart from Avengers:EMH, which has a not-so-cool opening in my opinion). Where did the age of the Opening Theme go? I miss it…

they did.
The Spider cycle was terrible but I get the target audience and just watch and giggle to myself along with it. Sure it’s not my favorite show but if young kids like it and buy comics because of it I don’t see it as a bad thing.
