Never read Scott Pilgrim. It always looked too manga-esque for my taste. This movie looks ridiculously badass though. I’ll definitely read the series before watching the flick.
This movie looks so good but I am so worried it is going to be a complete flop at the box office. It just seems to different for a mainstream audience but it has to be that out there to stay loyal to the books.

@THX7168 – I was the same way. Dismissed the books due to the covers/book size. Recently read them & they are as awesome as everyone has ever said. Super fun book. Can’t wait for the final one and this movie.

I will say this about the film: The visuals are fantastic! If he keeps this vibe as a comic film then props to the director, cinematographer, and everyone else working on the effects.
