I love it when a panel comes together.
Green Lantern Annual #1
By Geoff Johns, Ethan Van Sciver, Hi-Fi, & Sal Cipriano
This is how I imagine an Oompa Loompa civil war might look.
Wolverine and The X-Men #15
By Jason Aaron, Jorge Molina, Norman Lee, Morry Hollowell, & Chris Eliopoulos
Aww, Broo is so adorable. And it looks like Tony Stark might have finally found himself a proper sidekick!
Aquaman #12
By Geoff Johns, Ivan Reis, Joe Prado or Oclair Albert or Andy Lanning, Rod Reis, & Nick J. Napolitano
Ivan Reis is a beast.
FF #21
By Jonathan Hickman, Nick Dragotta, Cris Peter, & Clayton Cowles
Black Bolt? Diiiiick.
American Vampire #30
By Scott Snyder, Rafael Albuquerque, Dave McCaig, & Jared K. Fletcher
If I ever end up firing a giant machine gun at a horde of invaders, I will do it with a cigar chomped between my teeth.
Prophet #28
By Brandon Graham, Giannis Milonogiannis, Joseph Bergin III, Charo Solis, & Ed Brisson
This series continues to have dazzling double page spreads.
Uncanny X-Force #30
By Rick Remender, Dave Williams, Dean White, & Cory Petit
This is like the most terrifying episode of Quantum Leap ever.
Detective Comics Annual #1
By Tony S. Daniel, Romano Molenaar, Sandu Florea, Dave Sharpe, & Andrew Dalhouse
Yes, what Alfred has for you, Bruce, is a magical floating table.
Avenging Spider-Man #11
By Zeb Wells, Steve Dillon, Frank Martin Jr., & Joe Caramagna
This was the biggest laugh out loud moment of the week.
Justice League #12
By Geoff Johns, Jim Lee, One of a Whole Army of Inkers, One of a Whole Army of Colorists, & Patrick Brosseau
You know this one had to be in here.
MAGIC FLOATING TABLE.
Scooby Doo makes a special guest appearance in that panel.
ACE! Finally my namesake makes an appearance!
Oh, come on. I’d be upset if Bruce Wayne DIDN’T have a hover-table…
Reminds me of the great Clark and Bruce on horses panels in DKR. Really nice. Table is weird though!
The page with Evan made me actually jump.
Same. Ugh Shadow King. -_-
Am I the only one who read Iron Man as Hank Scorpio from the Simpsons in that panel?
no, but just for fun I re-read it that way just now and I think you may be onto something. 😀
Do you think Tony keeps loose sugar somewhere in the suit. Sorry it’s not in packets.
Dr Venture more likely
Lol@ Dean, “You want cream?”
Lol but yes
Also that panel with Broo is my personal highlight of the week, love that little guy.
that typo under the American Vampire panel made me think you wanted to die fighting Horse Invaders
The Detective Comics annual inker is actually spelled “Sandu Florea,” and he’s the biggest comics rock star to ever emerge from Romania.
I really need to start reading Wolverine and the X-Men. That is some greatness. The Prophet piece is stunning. As is much of the series.
I got hooked on WATXM because of the art. Nick Bradshaw is fantastic. But when he teams up with inker Walden Wong, the books just pop!
Wolverine and the X-Men made me so happy this week and reminded me of just how funny the series is.
Man, these are all impossibly wonderful.
There are some fantastic panels of Black Bolt in FF.
But the one I loved is early on where he’s clearly taking a dump…..You know the panel.
My favorite part of Aquaman #12 was the opening scene featuring Mera and her kick-@$$ abilities; that was amazing. The fight against Manta was also pretty awesome, and the death of that one character was very moving, as was seeing Arthur crying.

Comments and feedback are always welcome!
wow, looks like I ‘ve got to jump back on Aquaman!
“The Others” is best thing to come out of the new 52 (after Batman), gotta love it when a villain genuinely holds the moral high ground over a hero
Great set of panels this week.
my personal favorite: Minutemen #3’s final page.
It’s probably just coincidence but is it cheap that AVX Versus is apeing Justice League 12’s Superman/Wonder Woman kiss with Storm and Black Panther’s?
The Prophet panel is gorgeous, Makes me want to go an buy the issue. Beautiful.
My favorite panel was that moment in American Vampire when Skinner walks out of the woods and into gunfire twirling the gun on his finger.
Perfectly designed to remind the reader that before becoming a vampire he was a badass outlaw.
And with that panel, my love of Broo grew exponentially.
wow….UNCLE TONY
Love the floating table.
