‘The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes!’ – S02E21 – “Winter Soldier”

For some inexplicable reason my DVR didn’t record last week’s episode until Friday and I haven’t had a chance to watch it yet. So I’m sad. (Not really–I’m in Vegas.)

Here’s how “Winter Soldier” is described:

Captain America ponders the mystery of the Winter Soldier and enlists Nick Fury’s aid to find him when the Red Skull escapes from prison.

    It looks like they retconned the Winter Soldier story from what happened at the end of Season 1, episode 21 “Hail, Hydra!”

    That’s unfortunate because one of my favorite things about this show is how well planned out the stories are… and there are a lot of stories to juggle!

    It was a good episode. It combined Winter Soldier with part of the fight from “Captain America Reborn”. The slightly altered continuity doesn’t bother me. The writers and producers have done a great job with the storylines.

    I’m going to miss this show.

    Oh, and it has a version of the Sleepers, which are always awesome.
