I didn’t watch the first season, but I just set this to record right after Ultimate Spider-man.
Doom is always a draw for me.
Dude, Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes is the second best superhero cartoon show, just right there after Batman: The Animated series! It’s THAT good, you owe it to yourself to watch the first season, it’s on Netflix in case you’re a subscriber!
Good to know! If the Episode tomorrow is anywhere near as good as you say, I’ll watch the first season.
I hope the Spidey cartoon is as good as season 1 of avengers…
So confused. Why are Yellowjacket and Ant/Giant Man in the same grouping? Did they establish all these characters last season?
Yeah, I have no idea who the guy dressed as yellow jacket is.
Thats what I was wondering, its all Hank Pym, why do that? But I do like how the 1st season was classic Marvel U stuff interweaving plots,heroes origins and villains agendas w continuity while bouncing around and coming back to things, now the 2nd season looks to be up to date and bringing in the Calvary. Can’t wait to either buy it on bluray and watch em all like one big movie or on demand em when I get new cable service. (Shut it off cause I’m moving and switching provider),and agree its comix best animated show yet, up there with Batman and X-MEN from the 90’s.

I think that’s Daisy Johnson. She is the Shield agent with seismic powers from Secret War and Secret Warriors
Those have to be Skrulls.
That being said seeing so many characters in one scene reinforces my belief that this is the Marvel Crtoon I have been waiting my whole life for.
That was awesome. I love the deep world that they are building and the progression of the overall Skrull storyline.
Things I Loved:
– Dr. Doom and his casually confident badassery.
– Doombots!
– The relationship between The Thing and The Hulk.
– The Fantastic Four characterizations.
It’s been a while since I saw the last season so maybe someone who has seen it more recently can clear this up, but did Cap lose his shield?
Yeah, Cap’s shield shattered in the last episode.
I thought I remembered something happened to it but I couldn’t remember what. I fear they are prepping him for an energy shield…
The preview video from a while back showed him with device on his arm hinting at just that. But let’s not forget that this is also the SkrullCap – the real shield might come back with the real Steve.
From the previews it looks like the energy shield thing is happening…*sigh*

This was great, loved having Doom as the bad guy and the inclusion of the Fantastic Four. This season is shaping up to be very good with the whole Skrull storyline.

They put full episodes of ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN on their website, so it’s possible that they will put AVENGERS up too:

No idea. We are anti-torrenting here so this wouldn’t be the place to find out.
I am anti-torrenting as well but there should be a frigging law that forces companies to make Digital Media available for world-wide purchase. Regional purchase blocks are hideous.

Another great episode. Except, Doom knocking Hulk out of the castle and subsequently the rest of the episode. I mean seriously? Being the badass that Hulk is should he not be back in the action within a leap?
Fun episode, but it seemed like some of the animation was a little sloppy in this one, mainly on the FF, like the artists didn’t spend as much time on them as they do on the rest of the characters.

Very good episode! If I could have the Hulk/Thing show, I’d be eternally happy.
Since this is shaping up to be Kree/Skrull War and Secret Invasion we know that Sue is a Skrull and so is Cap. But, going along the lines of Secret Invasion, Pym was a Skrull and was key in the invasion in the books. In Hawkeyes opening lines in the poker game he states “No ones seen Pym in a few days” so what I’m wondering is if he got abducted? That could be one explanation to his becoming Yellowjacket (the other being that Scott steals it in episode 5 of this season). I hope this isn’t true that Pym got abducted since he’s one of my favorite characters in the show, but we’ll see what’s happening. I might just be over thinking it 🙂
It was as good as expected! Though I found the costume switch for Captain America and Iron Man to be somewhat of a shock… But hey, I guess they want to reach the “upcoming movies” audience a bit more, most likely a decision coming from Disney…

I have a 4yr old daughter who loves the show! We started watching it together when she was 3. I love taking here to the comic shop with me so the guys can quiz her on her knowledge of superheros. Awesome!
OMG parrallel universe? Same here. She LOVES this show. And Young Justice, where she seems to already be developing a fondness for the bad boys…Superboy and Red Arrow are all she talks about…”They’r Handsome, Daddy”.
