TEASER: Yet more FOUR!

Fantastic Four #600 is out in November. Perhaps you've heard about it?

Looks like there's one more to go, and all bets point to Farel Dalrymple. But for now, you'll have to do with John Romita Jr. and Klaus Janson, doing what it is they do.

Of course, it appears they got the number wrong. 1, 2, 3, 4… 5.

  1. Fett02 Fett02 says:

So the question still remains: retitled, two books, or just temperary thing for #600?

  2. mrfrost mrfrost says:

I would settle for a roster of five in one book. On a side note, i do like the Romita Jr.

  3. Heroville Heroville says:

Well at least their sticking to the time-honored tradition of having Spider-Man show up to drive up sales

  4. Rob3E Rob3E says:

Now let’s work in She-Hulk. Ooo, and Herbie the robot. Who else has taken a turn as one of the Four? Enough for a top five list?

  5. zattaric zattaric says:

    Crystal and Ms. Marvel II

  6. abstractgeek abstractgeek says:

@Heroville  maybe spider-man should guest star in his own book then since it doesnt sell as well as FF these days…

  7. flakbait flakbait says:

They had a big poster-sized version of this for JR Jr to sign at the Dallas Comic Con back in May.

  8. WeaklyRoll WeaklyRoll says:

I hope that (and i am being very sincere) that this continues to increase sales for the FF. for a long time it’s been a low pulled book, and it’s been doing really well lately, and want it to continue that. and 600 issues in 50 years, pretty crazy!

  9. I’m so glad to see Farel Dalrymple’s name attached to this. That guy doesn’t get nearly enough work.

  10. ericmci ericmci says:

Ben is back to wearing a diaper?

  11. abstractgeek abstractgeek says:

i do hope we get 2 books out of this, one in the present, one in the past, like the captain america books. I loved untold tales of spiderman, and legends of the dark knight, and other books like that. I dont mine having multiple titles for a character/team if they are good

  12. RoiVampire RoiVampire says:

I was hoping one of these would be the Ghost Rider, Spider-Man, Gray Hulk, Wolverine team

  13. ClasikRok ClasikRok says:

If I had to venture a guess the “Fantastic Four” title will continue as an On-Going priced at $3.99, and FF will also continue at its regular price of $2.99.

That seems to be the way Marvel is handling its titles these days for all its characters/teams/families, A premiere title at $3.99 and a secondary one at $2.99.

    Some Examples:
    Mighty Thor(3.99) and JIT (2.99)
Invincible Iron Man (3.99) and Iron Man 2.0 (2.99)
Incredible Hulk (3.99) and Hulk (2.99)

    Even the X-titles have this:
    Uncanny, X-Force, X-Men (3.99) and Legacy, X-Factor, Gen Hope (2.99)

  14. ClasikRok ClasikRok says:

    Forgot to mention
    Avengers/New/Secret (3.99) and Avengers Academy (2.99)
    Captain America (3.99) and Cap&Bucky (2.99)
    Amazing Spider-Man (3.99) and Venom (2.99)
    Wolverine/& the X-Men (3.99) Daken/X-23 (2.99)

  15. keith7198 keith7198 says:

    Hmmmmmmmmmm

  16. It’s definitely looking more and more that it’s a big anniversary issue and nothing else.

  17. Zarathos81 Zarathos81 says:

@abstractgeek  Amazing is almost always in the top 10 and sells within distance of FF every month…

  18. nastysnow says:

@abstractgeek since slott got on the book spiderman has been selling very well as a matter if fact the last 3 months it has been a head of the vat books.july spiderman 666 is the number 1 book of the month

  19. So….I guess we should all say @praxjarvin called it?

(For FF going back to Fantastic Four in 12 issues)

  20. ragcage ragcage says:

I hope this is just an anniversary issue, because i am not going to buy 2 FF ongoings, and i would kind of hate it if they would throw FF out of the window and go on in Fantastic Four… I hate all these “renumberings back to the original numbering”.

  21. mikeandzod21 mikeandzod21 says:

who didnt see them doing this for issue 600? C’Mon!

  22. Davetron3k says:

Why not just change the title to Fantastic Fun.

  23. @Rob3E  Members of the Fantastic Four have been: Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Girl/Woman, Human Torch, The Thing, Medusa, Crystal, Luke Cage, She-Hulk, Ms Marvel II, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Ghost Rider, The Hulk, Ant-Man (Scott Lang), Franklin Richards as an adult (forgot his super hero name), Kristoff (Dr. Doom’s pseudo-”son”), Namor, Dr. Doom, Lyja, Black Panther, Storm.

Don’t think I missed anyone. But if I did, the iFanbase will let me know LOL

  24. cahubble09 cahubble09 says:

I’ve been reading Fantastic Four, but not as far back as two years … I don’t think … what is the story that began over two years ago? I need to catch up …
