Supermaker: An Epic Event in an 8 Page Webcomic

I’ll be honest with you. I can’t pinpoint what it is that made this webcomic so alluring, but it’s fascinating. Andrew Drilon tells the mixed story of a cartoonist working on an epic, crisis level event, and his struggle to finish it above all else. I think there’s an interesting metaphor going on here, amped up to superhero level drama, and it’s pretty good looking too.

Plus, when an 8 page comic has 3 variant covers, well, that’s something.

This was really cool! it’s astonishing how much Drilon crammed into only eight pages. By the end I had already forgotten it’s length and was ready for more. Thanks for calling my attention to this Josh.
