Smallville – S08E21 – Injustice

Tonight’s episode – Injustice

I caught up on Smallville just in time to be out of town for the newest episode!

I really enjoyed the Lois as Stiletto episode, and the appearance of Bruno Manheim.  Even though Lois’s big leap into action of the end of the episode was kind of ridiculous, it was still fun.  And I really liked how Clark, Lois, and Jimmy all got their chance to be heroic in the final fight. “Can you read my mind?” was a nice, subtle little nod to Superman: The Movie.

The Doomsday episode was okay. A lot of that ground has been covered over and over.

I’m in London, so carry the live blogging torch with distinction! I’ll be reading when I get back!

As always, I look forward to your thoughts, opinions, gripes, live-blogging, etc.

  21. Crippler Crippler says:

This episode was full of cool comic book references, but overall, it felt flat.  Ever since we first got a hint of the injustice gang way back when, I’ve been waiting for their reappearance and… ugh.  Oh well.  Kryptonite ring beating from Ollie was awesome as was his ability to lose his pants faster then any man alive.  I’ve got hopes for seeing Parasite again next season.

What was up with the whole ‘saviour of Kandor’ ending?  Writers decided to just start reading Superman books from this past year?  lol

  22. captamerica101 captamerica101 (@Autobot_Hunter) says:

it just started here but was that the suicide squad?????????????

  23. captamerica101 captamerica101 (@Autobot_Hunter) says:

  24. Holy crap so the goth chick is Plastique? I didnt pick up on that in the first episode she was in.

Pretty crazy how the episode ended with a hint about Kandor

  25. JesTr JesTr says:

Did anyone else pick up that "Chloe" was a shapeshifter right away?

  26. Dimon says:

This episode confused me, where did the squad of those 4 guys came from? Were they mentioned before? I must’ve missed it… And who the hell is that proffessor guy that helped Clark?

  27. captamerica101 captamerica101 (@Autobot_Hunter) says:

someone please tell me, what happened last week?

  28. Superyan Superyan says:

@Dimon – Tess started them.  Early in the season, she took Bette/Plastique and told her she wanted her to join a team she was putting together.  The professor was on the last episode or two i think.  It is none other than Dr. or Professor Emil Hamilton from the comics…
