At the Arrow panel on Saturday this extended trailer for season two was shown:
It looks like some exciting things are going to be happening in Starling City after the cataclysm that shook the city at the end of last season, not the least of which is the appearance of Black Canary who is not Katie Cassidy’s Laurel Lance, rather she will be played by the newly cast Caity Lotz. Confused? I am too. We’ll get some answers next season, I reckon.
Also announced at SDCC was the addition of Michael Jai White and Kevin Alejandro as season two villains. White will be playing the assassin named Ben Turner who is called Bronze Tiger in the comics and Alejandro will be playing Sebastian Blood, this show’s version of Brother Blood.
Arrow returns Wednesday, October 9 on The CW.

Maybe this is the first Black Canary, and Laurel Lance will become Black Canary II eventually.
I’ve actually missed this show and can’t wait for it to come back. One cool little thing I liked was the nickname “Scar City.” It reminds of when they were calling Coast City “Ghost City” prior to the Sinestro Corps War. Excited for Bronze Tiger and my favourite part here was definitely when he said he didn’t want to be called The Hood anymore, then looked down at his green arrow!
Such a great show plus they announced that Michael J White as Bronze Tiger.

Looking forward to season 2. Arrow is one of the only shows that I watch, mainly due to not enough time and there being a lot of shit out there.
Can’t wait for this to come back, still surprised by how much I liked the first season and it looks like there is plenty to get excited for next season.
