SDCC 2013: Monkeybrain Comics Enters Year 2 With New Titles Available RIGHT NOW

2450827-monkeybrain_comics_logoJust over a year ago, we saw the launch of the all-digital imprint Monkeybrain Comics. It seemed a radical idea at the time, but consistent releases, critical acclaim, and even a few Eisner nominations seemed to have solidified their tactic as a vibrant force within the comics publishing landscape.

“We have been overwhelmed by the amount of support we’ve received from readers and creators alike in our first year of operation,” co-publisher Allison Baker said, “and we can’t wait to show everyone what we have planned for our second year.”

If you happen to be reading this from San Diego, you’ll have the opportunity to attend a panel to celebrate their success and find out just what’s in store for the imprint during year two.

Monkeybrain Panel:
Thursday, 7/18/13 8:00p.m.- 9:00p.m, Room 28DE

8:00-9:00PM Monkeybrain Comics Anniversary Celebration – Last year, Chris Roberson (Edison Rex) and Allison Baker (Co-Publisher) launched Monkeybrain Comics at Comic Con International. Comments

  1. Not familiar with any of this, Monkeybrain or otherwise. But “Dropout” looks really cool and original. I’ll be on the lookout for that.

  2. Wow, that Heartbreakers is sick. May have to buy this or track down the DHP issues…
