Paul Cornell’s Christmas Quiz for the Comp Box Comics

Each year, Paul Cornell treats us all with his 12 blogs of Christmas, and this year is no exception.  But the DC exclusive writer of Action Comics and Knight and Squire has something special for you this year.  Finding himself with an extra DC comp box containing 122 comics, 25 trade paperbacks, 5 hardcovers, and one Sgt. Rock Showcase, Paul thought he'd share the wealth.  Why would he do this? Because he is a fantastic guy. That's why.

But you'll have to work for it.  There are ten difficult quiz questions posted.  Email the answers to Paul, and the person with the highest score wins.  In the event of a tie, there's even an essay question.  Yes, it's a lot of work, but that is also a lot of comics, which will be sent to wherever in the world the winner would like.

For more, including the very specific email address where you can send your answers, go to Paul Cornell's blog!

My head hurt just reading those questions, and I consider myself somewhat of a fan of Brit pop culture. Good luck to anyone who gives this a shot – I tap out.

  9. Jordan0061 Jordan0061 says:

I thought being English I would have some sort of inside knowledge or extra edge on all of you. Tragically, I don’t.

  10. RoiVampire RoiVampire says:

These are HARD. Payback for the American Revolution? I think so.

  13. rycaut rycaut says:

Hard is a bit of an understatement – impressively Google resistant bunch of questions – for what would be a fantastic prize so definitely worth some time trying but I suspect however much time I put into it my chances of winning are slim – even if my “superpower” is my ability to search things out on the Internet…

Going to do this.  I did actually win something from the dear Mr. Cornell (autographed books, including CB & MI 13) and it was a lot of fun.  My Googlefu got a lot of exercise.
