  1. Neeks Neeks says:

Lightest week ive had in a long time, im only grabbing 3 books Aquaman, All Star Western and the one im most excited for Wolverine and the X-men.

BQ: Ive already celebrated Thankgiving since i live in Canada and i spent it with family and turkey of course

  2. Gerry Lopez nudebuddha says:

Lightest week I’ve had in months. 6 books, with only a couple I’m really excited about, Wolverine and the X-Men, Fantastic Four and Incorruptible. Voodoo has been solid, too. I’m giving Aquaman another chance, but as much as I loved the first issue, I found the jokes wore thin by the second. I might be reaching saturation on my enjoyment of Invincible, but I want to see where it goes.

  3. Good, solid Thanksgiving week!

All-Star Western, Aquaman, Fantastic Four, and Secret Avengers.

BQ: Yes. First parade, then food, then Muppets!

  4. KenOchalek KenOchalek says:

This is also a light week for me, so I’m going to try to counteract Cancelpocalypse and check out last week’s Avengers Academy to see if it’s in my wheelhouse.

BQ: Going to see my brother’s new house in greater Orlando. It’s a little early to need an escape from the Michigan winter, but I’ll make the sacrifice.

  5. deezer deezer says:

A normal-sized week for me, maybe 5 or 6 books plus a hardcover (the Black Mirror). Really excited for a lot of them, though

BQ: Lunch with my mom, then going over to see my dad’s family

  6. martinNL martinNL says:

Six monthlies for me, Most looking forward to Aquaman and The Shade and Teen Titans. Will give The Flash another try. I love the art in that book, but it seems the story is not going anywhere, or it’s just not my cup of tea. AS Western gets another go too. Enjoyed the first issue of Wolverine & TXM. And will also get The Black Mirror HC. That was such an epic run that I want to read it in HC now. Looking forward to see what the extras will be.

BQ: We don’t do Thanksgiving on this side of the pond.

  7. 8bitErin 8bitErin says:

Only 3 for me this week: Alpha Flight #6, Wolverine and the X-Men #2, Justice League Dark #3

BQ: Celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving at my uncle’s with my mom’s side of the family.

  8. odare77 says:

Good week, double dipping on Black Mirror and that gorgeous Parker Martini Edition. Fantastic Four 600, Wolvie and the X-Men, DMZ, Shade, Scalped, Flash and Captain America/Bucky. Plenty to be plenty excited for…but never would have thought I’d see I, Vampire top the chart like that…one for the trade, me thinks.

BQ: Not here in the UK I’m afraid…but just to answer I will be working, working and working.

  9. pppiquer pppiquer says:

was I, Vampire due this week or last? I looked for it last week but couldn’t find it

  10. MoniBolis MoniBolis says:

    No. I’m from México.
I’m getting All Star Western and Scalped :)

  11. Metamorphic Metamorphic says:

This week may result in a series of DC drops as I’ve given three issues to the ones I read. On the bubble:

Blackhawks: Was really looking forward to this because of Costa… but it’s felt kind of dull. Or at least, not particularly memorable. (It’s certainly not of G.I. Joe:Cobra level yet.)

Fury of Firestorm: All the ingredients are there but it hasn’t been connecting for me.

New Guardians: I like the characters and I’m curious about the mystery surrounding Kyle. But is that enough?

Teen Titans and Savage Hawkman are also on the ropes with me. So we’ll see what happens.

  12. wangman31888 wangman31888 says:

Man, you guys talking about ur light week made me think mine was gonna be the same!!

i’ve got my regular haul and then a 96 page FF issue! Looking forward to kicking off Thanksgiving with comics!

  13. SmoManCometh SmoManCometh says:

Invincible Iron Man, Fury of Firestorm, Flash, Might Thor, I,Vampire, Aquaman…all of my favorite titles come out this week, so I don’t care where I spend Thanksgiving.

  14. Daken: Dark Wolverine #17, Invincible #85, Teen Titans #3, Invincible Iron Man #510, The Mighty Thor #8, & Wolverine and the X-Men #2. So I got a short stack this week. I wonder if The Mighty Thor will change its name to The Mighty Tanaruse.
BQ: I may not be celebrating Thanksgiving this year. I’m 17 and most of my relatives are at least 50. A teenager surrounded by old people? Not a good time even if they are family.

  15. Firevine Firevine says:

    ALL-STAR WESTERN #3
    ANNIHILATORS: EARTHFALL #3 (OF 4)
    CAPTAIN AMERICA AND BUCKY #624
    FANTASTIC FOUR #600
    THE SHADE #2 (OF 12)
    THE SIXTH GUN #17
    WOLVERINE AND THE X-MEN #2

BQ: I think this year, I want to do something with just the fiancee. I am a bit tired of the family time hubub. My family has a tendency to not get along with one another.

  16. Muad_Dib says:

Wolverine and the XMen, Astonishing XMen (greg Pak!!!), I, Vampire, Justice League dark, Teen Titans, Tank Girl: Carioca

BQ: Doin like I always do and staying home!

  17. r3v r3v says:

Very stoked about Wolverine & The X-men and All-Star Western this week.

  18. RobotZombie RobotZombie says:

Wolverine and the X-Men – I have been waiting anxiously for this since I finished issue 1
Aquaman – Enjoying the art and curious to see where the story goes
JL DARK – This one is on the bubble but I am giving it another shot

BQ – Going to New Orleans!

  19. kennyg kennyg says:

    ALL-STAR WESTERN #3
    AQUAMAN #3
    BLACKHAWKS #3
    GREEN LANTERN: NEW GUARDIANS #3
    I, VAMPIRE #3
    KICK-ASS 2 #5
    THE FLASH #3
    THE SHADE #2 (OF 12)
    THE SIXTH GUN #17

Dropping Justice League Dark with this issue, and this may be my last Blackhawks too.

BQ: Brother-in-law’s house in Austin TX.

  20. iroberts007 iroberts007 says:

I guess im most looking forward to All star western, Justice League Dark and Wolverine and the Xmen.. although i could add so much more to that cause this is a particularly good week. The new Aliens hard cover looks interesting.

Im not looking to drop any of this weeks stuff. Its a pretty sweet group.

Im letting people come to me this year.

  21. boomergirl boomergirl says:

With thirteen titles, this is my heaviest week.

BQ: I will be celebrating Thanksgiving in my kitchen, preparing and plating food for a very large family who would still have me sit at the kids table.

  22. adrianrigter adrianrigter says:

    three books for me:

    Flash
    JLD
    I, Vampire

though Fan Four #600 is indeed tempting.

happy turkey day to all my American friends:)

  23. SleepingMan SleepingMan says:

HALLELUJAH I have a light week this week. The books I cannot wait for this week is JLD and Shade.

BQ: Im canadian so I had Thanksgiving in October.

  24. Got 5 books, but two of them are $8 books: Fantastic Four and The Life Story of the Flash. Also getting Flash, The Fury of Firestorm the Nuclear Men and Invincible Iron Man. Should be a great week!

  25. BionicDave BionicDave says:

A normal week for me, spending-wise! I’m most excited about SHADE #2 and ALL-STAR WESTERN #3. These are books that necessitate me sitting back with a glass of wine and listening to music softly playing in the background while I read. :)

I also will be going online to read the discounted digi-comics of INVINCIBLE #84 and CATWOMAN #2 (after hearing how much Conor et al liked the title in their latest podcast).

As for my Turkey Sacrifice Day, it’s real tough when you live in the same city as ALL your relatives and most of your friends. Thus, I will be a Traveling Pilgrim yet again, going to at least *three* different Thanksgiving dinners – and then doing cocktails at one or two other places, sheesh. I should have T-shirts made up with all my venues and times!

    Happy holiday, everyone :)

  26. cosmo cosmo says:

Urg, very heavy week for me — hoping that November’s fifth week can lighten things up a little . . .

Indies: Glad to see a new issue of RASL hitting the shelves. I’ve been really enjoying this series, and look forward to seeing where it goes next.

DC: Unwritten in one of my favorite series right now, so much so that I’m looking forward to a new issue even if it has a point in the numbering . . . Justice League Dark picked up for me last issue, so I’m hoping that #3 continues the upwards swing — like so many others, I really want to like this series. Also picking up All-Star Western and Aquaman. I’m trade waiting on Shade, though i’m sure it’s awesome.

Marvel: The Fantasic Four will probably be the first comic I read tomorrow, out of fear of spoilers if nothing else. I’ve been mixed on Hickman’s writing in general, and honestly this title is on the probation, especially now that it’s being split off from FF. May just follow FF. Not sure. I do know that I will be sorely disappointed if Johnny’s back already . . . Also, getting Captain Anerica & Bucky, last week’s Captain America, Iron Man, and Annhilarators (hoping that this gets better now that the misunderstanding heroes fight scene is over).

BQ: I will be celebrating, though not sure how yet. Life’s in transition, so many a thing is in the air . . .

  27. Timmy Wood Timmy Wood (@TimmyWood) says:

    BQ: Washington DC!

  28. Bat fan88 Bat fan88 says:

Most excited for all-star western and the flash

  29. superharley superharley says:

Looks like it could be a good week. Excited for Flash, Wolverine & the X-men and Scalped the most this week. Going to give Astonishing X-men a second go and hoping Voodoo will keep my interest.

  30. optic00085 optic00085 says:

    My pulls:
    ALL-STAR WESTERN #3
    AQUAMAN #3
    JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK #3
    SCALPED #54
    TEEN TITANS #3
    THE FLASH #3
    WOLVERINE AND THE X-MEN #2

Really looking forward everything this week! I’m probably most excited for The Flash.

BQ: Wow, have I got a strange answer for this one. On thanksgiving I will be backcountry camping in Coronado National forest. I lead a trail crew and we will be hiking through a backcountry trail with chainsaws removing trees that have fallen onto the trail. On Thanksgiving day, dinner will be canned chicken, dried cranberries, and powdered mashed potatoes!

    • iroberts007 iroberts007 says:

Are you a Ranger? I though i had day hiked near Coronado.. but i guess Chiracahua NM is 50 miles away. I love that place. Thanks for removing those trees.. The last time i backcountried through a big park we got held up on a series of massive fallen trees. People dont realize how difficult it can be to bushwhack through thorny brush without a Jason Vorhees machete. Probably cost us a half an hour and 1/4 pint of blood.

    • optic00085 optic00085 says:

I actually work for a non-profit called American Conservation Experience, we get contracted through the Park Service(or USFS, BLM, etc.). Just found out today that the project was actually postponed, so it looks like I may get a real thanksgiving after all!

    • iroberts007 iroberts007 says:

      Oh well .. Happy Thanksgiving!

  31. Bryce31 Bryce31 says:

I’ve got an extra light week with The Shade and Cap & Bucky.

BQ: Two different spots for both sides of my family, Thanksgiving is tiring.

  32. Natebot Natebot says:

Decent sized week for me, looking forward to wolverine and the x-men,I, vampire,Flash and Aquaman.

BQ- No thanks giving for me.

  33. TRStrick says:

HEAVY week for me: regular pulls plus 3 absolutely essential collections: BLACK MIRROR, BARKS DONALD DUCK and POGO (yes!).

  34. cubman987 cubman987 says:

Fantastic Four #600!!! Also picking up Wolverine and the X-Men and Iron Man and will read my co-workers copies of Superman and The Dark Knight.

BQ: Going to my Aunt’s house for games, wine, and lunch….then home to watch the Dolphins game then seeing the Muppets either that night or the next day!!

  35. Neb Neb says:

Here’s what I love about this week: with the holiday looming, I have Wednesday-Friday off and my grad school class was canceled because of traveling. This means I’ll be able to hit my shop on Wednesday during the day when they still have stuff. Hooray! A big week for me though. 13ish books with more added at the shop I’m sure.

BQ: The wife and I are staying home because she’s literally 9 days away from having our baby. There’s a strong possibility that Thanksgiving may be at the hospital. If not, we’re grubbing down at her mom’s house just down the street.

  36. jasonhart jasonhart says:

Good week: Scalped, DMZ & Sixth Gun. Now, how to find the time to get to the comic shop…?

  37. Dr.Casanova says:

Oh thank god its almost Wednesday! I have been waiting all month for the Flash and Aquaman! Hell yeah! Man both titles have been really awesome. This week i also might pull the last few issues of wonder woman to try it out. Gonna wait until thanksgiving to read em all.

BQ: At home because that’s the way its been all my life and i wouldn’t have it any other way.

  38. PotatoPope PotatoPope says:

Only one person has mentioned Parker Martini Edition, that’s a shame. 4 titles, 2 are big two 2 are indie.

  39. Reform Reform says:

    LIFE STORY OF the FLASH!

BQ: Mother in-laws (lots of fun)
