This week – I get my comics from LAST month.
Yes, the DC #12′s are starting for me this week. Assuming DC lowers the prices, of course. And because Marvel never seems to lower theirs, no Marvel this week as usual for me.

For this week it’s Animal Man, Swamp Thing, Earth 2, Phantom Stranger, and Green Arrow solely for the fact that Winick is writing him for one issue. Also picking up the third Batman: Knightfall trade, Aquaman vol 1, and Teen Titans vol 1 (I like the new take on the series).
BQ: Lots of reading for classes.
With Marvel NOW happening, I’ve stopped buying all Marvel books until they start over…. Otherwise the books feel like filler for the most part….
I don’t know what it is about the first and last weeks… 19 comics last week, 18 comics this week. I love reading them when they come out, but I’m starting to consider putting a limit on how many I take home from the store just so I can balance out my reading each week more.

BQ: Smashed the state, then seized the means of production. Also, read X-Men: Schism, checked out from the library. Meh.
Everyone should buy the Manhattan Project. A mix bag of stuff this week. I didn’t get into swamp thing or animal man, so this is a week where I feel dopey for passing something up that most everyone else is digging.
Hawkeye was fun, some GL, Earth 2 I’ve really enjoyed, some batman…good week.
BQ: we treated labor day like it was “spring cleaning” summer style…wash cars, wash and groom dogs…move furniture. It was a blast…
HOLY SHIT MY PULL IS HUGE THIS WEEK but im probably gonna drop Green Arrow, Batwing (when Winick leaves), Catwoman and maybe Red Hood since Rocafort left. But im uber excited for X-Factor, Earth 2, Mind The Gap.
BQ: Stayed at home.
A very light, but probably really awesome week for me — just Hawkeye and Thief of Thieves.
The Massive #4 is on the list, but Dark Horse and Previews say it won’t be out until next week. Hopefully they’re both wrong!
BQ: Spent the weekend having fun on a couple different lakes in northern Michigan. Spent most of Labor Day itself sitting in traffic on I-75, then put in an exhausted and subpar performance at pub trivia.
BQ: Read comic books and books about comic books.

World’s Finest #0 – Maguire’s art is really impressing me.
Have dropped quite a few of the DC #0′s. A lot of them seem to be filler material.
BQ : Just a regular day, here in the UK. Had a job interview.
Moved from OH to CT in June, so the last few months have been finding work and rebuilding the bank account so no comics. My LCS is kind enough to hold my stuff, so I’m looking forward to NuDCU #s 10-11′s next week.
From this week’s pull for me are: Alter Ego and Back Issue.
BQ: Fix a shelf and bicker. We made up.
Three comics for me this week and they’re all 0 issues. I can wait til next week to pick up my books.
BQ: Had a BBQ on Sunday with friends, most of whom had to work yesterday. Myself included. Retail blows.

Rather light week, which is good as I ned to catch up with my stack. Very excited about Hawkeye #2 though. Earth 2 #0 and World’s Finest #0 seem interesting… I’d like to see some of the characters from Earth 2 #1 again… briefly. Stll enjoying Silk Spectre. Haven’t actually read Archer & Armstrong #1 yet… see the aforementioned stack.
