I am experiencing a tsunami of comics this week. Not only is it a huge week for issues, but there are a ton of great collections coming out this week. I can’t wait to get my grubby hands on the new Hellboy Library Edition, Parker: The Score, and more Blacksad!
BQ: Grad school. I’m elbow deep in my Master’s program and watching my 7 month old. It’s possible I may even forget that SDCC is coming up.
6 regular pick ups this week with the odd ball of the group being Punk Rock Jesus by Sean Murphy.
BQ: Nothing cause im not going.
HUGE week – 9 floppies & 3 hardcovers (noodles are a food group, right?).
BQW: Not much, I live in the wrong hemisphere.

LOTS of books out this week. Really, really looking forward to Planetoid, Batman, Smoke and Mirrors and Walking Dead as well as quite a few others.
BQ: Totally bummed out that i’m not able to go to SDCC. One day i’ll make it, i swear.

Sheesh. This is a monster week. Lots of good comics, but add Hellboy Library Edition 5, the new Blacksad, Wild Children, and the new Parker into the mix… Gonna have to sneak all this into the apartment past the little lady. Also gonna have to get a second job.

Looking forward to the conclusion to Night of the Owls the most I think. But really excited for all of these books. I am loving the storyline right now in Batman and Robin (been a really good series), Minutemen has Darwyn Cook(book), Lord of Nightmares has DRACULA!, I’ve been waiting an extended week on Swamp Thing and Punk Rock Jesus has me intrigued. So yeah… I’m excited!

We have issue #100 for TWD and believe it or not it seems like it is going to give us something different for the first time in a long time, I for one am excited to read this issue! Of course this week I also get Suicide Squad, in my feeling this is the best title out there and is very underated; if your not reading it or you are looking for a good title to read this is the one, you will not be disappointed. I would suggest picking up the back issues first or the trade or both to get caught up because, this is just a great comic book. we also have Batman and Robin which has also been underated and Damian is about to head down the path I thought he would take and once he does I do not think there will be a return. The conclusion of the Court of Owls in Batman should be very good as well!! Just a fine week!!
