  1. No one watching it? I didn’t really know it was on…none of the kids I work with mention it at all…phineas and ferb yeah…batman and teen titans they talk about .

  2. Just made an account to say that this is the worst crap Marvel ever put out. Curse you Jeph Loeb.

    • Don’t worry. You’re perfectly justified. Marvel should know better, but I blame Disney for hiring Loeb…

Anyways, welcome to iFanboy! It’s a pleasant atmosphere so long as you don’t piss anyone off and don’t bring up Man of Steel! 🙂

    • MAN OF STEEL!!!

      Slowly I turned….

  3. I don’t see Jeph Loeb listed as a writer/creator, so I don’t know if you can actually blame him? The show is OK IMO, I will probably change my mind when Devil Dinosaur shows up.

    • Loeb runs Marvel’s TV department, and is responsible for the inception of this show as well as the cancellation of Avengers: EMH and homogenizing the tone of animated Marvel shows. He also had Ultimate Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch commit incest, turned the Hulk’s entire supporting cast into gamma monsters, fucked up the Ultimate Universe so badly that Marvel has now completed given up and destroying it, and continuously refuses to give the very talented Ed McGuinness anything good to draw. Even if his involvement was limited, fans are going to find him justly deserving of their collective ire.

    • OK, fair point…

  4. My current Reason-To-Be-Mad-At-Marvel is that Netflix still only has Season 1 of Ultimate Spider-Man.

Look, I started watching it, and it didn’t suck as much as some of your other cartoons, so please can I just watch the rest of it now?

I was hoping to look forward to watching this Hulk cartoon, and eventually not hating that new Avengers cartoons, but current buzz says I shouldn’t expect greatness.

I bought all of the Loeb-McGuinness Hulk stuff, and I didn’t hate it.

    I love how Ed draws.

And it was kind of fun to see Loeb go all Saturday Morning Cartoon across the whole boring soap-opera of cardboard retreads anyway. I’ll take Big Bad Red Betty over another forty years of Cringing, Clingy, Cliche-Feminism-Du-Jour, Written-Boringly-By-A-Dude Betty. I have more action-figure type fun with Used-To-Be-Captain-Marvel Now-Badass-A-Bomb than I would with Perpetually-Penitent-Ex-Hippie-Once-Cool Puny Human Rick Jones. Wait a minute? Didn’t you end the Kree-Skrull War by mentally evoking simulacra of the Invaders? Yeah, you get to Level-Up.

  5. Wow, I just checked out clips of both shows.

    Not impressed.

Guess if I’m really jonesing for superhero cartoons while eating my cereal I might stream some if they ever hit Netflix…
