Part one of season one wraps up here! This show started off okay but ended up pretty darn good. I look forward to more episodes.

This, to me, is the greatest superhero show outside of Batman: TAS ever. What a perfect mix of the action-adventure of Star Wars and the fun ideas and swashbuckling captain of Star Trek! I loved this so much–and have you seen it in HD?! I originally really doubted the animation style, but it works so well and as the season progressed it got more and more elaborate and gorgeous. Love this show and hope that WB/Cartoon Network don’t do their usual and screw it up with a terrible DVD release instead of the all-in-one Blu-Ray it deserves!
Actually I think a lot of this show takes inspiration from the Mass Effect video game as well.

Great finale! Loved seeing Saint Walker in action alongside Mogo. Everything really came together in the end. Can’t wait until next season. Maybe we’ll get to see the war of light play out.
Awesome finale! I think I liked the “War of Light” better here than in the comics, lol. Two things of special interest to me in this episode:
1) I like how they included the beat where Hal tells Atrocitus he understands what’s driving his anger, that he’s right to be angry, and offers to work with him to find a non-violent solution. Even though Atrocitus is way past that and they wind up beating the crap out of each other, that kind of stuff is important to show now and then; the hero reminding the villain it’s never too late to change.
2) If the show continues to keep Hal & Company adventuring in deep space next season, it’s going to be even harder to put Hal in new romantic settings – now that the show has strengthened the Hal/Carol love before its young audience’s eyes! Eeep. Is there a way to define “open relationship” to our younger viewers? lol
So, who shall be the big bad of season 2? Sinestro? Larfleeze? Gold Face?
I’m pretty sure i heard the Manhunters would be the bad guys.
The Manhunters might be really cool, seeing what we just did go down between the Oans and Red Lanterns. It’s the sign of a great rogues gallery when they can hold off using Sinestro while still challenging Green Lantern with compelling big bads.
Injured female guardian = SCAR???
This show went out with a bang. I injoy it alot still not a fan of the anamiation but everthing eles is amazing. Also this should have been the movie plot.
Best ep of the season! I hate to hate to wait now for new spisodes! Would love to see Guy and Kyle next season. Along with Arisia.
