Worst Superman line ever!
This just makes me think that there should be a supervillain named “The Internet”.

Superman’s true weakness is internet porn and even Superman can’t stop malware, spyware, and computer viruses

This is no surprise after the recent Wikileak detailing his weakness to kryptonite, location of the fortress of solitude, and his secret identity!
This sounds like a line that would come at the end of an episode of Super Friends, right before everyone starts chuckling as a group.
I could understand if Clark said this, but Superman?!?! FAIL!
Why wouldn’t he be scared of the internet? I mean you darn bloggers are taking their jobs away.
Well, to be fair, Darkseid did use the Internet to brainwash the entire world that one time. So there’s that.

I haven’t read this issue, and the provided sequence and the review above hardly make me want to run out and buy it.
The art here is interesting. Does anyone else notice where Perry’s eyes are looking?

Wow, talk about a mess and quite possibly the worst line ever written for Superman
actually this wasn’t a terrible story, but yes that panel was a bit trite.
I wasn’t crazy with how Perry was drawn but deep inside that story was a reasnobly consistent character portrait of PW.
But also I do see some merit in the idea that heroes would be affraid of the net when it comes to maintaining their secret identities.
How many google street cameras might catch a hero in mid costume change etc?
When Anonymous declares war on Superman is when I’ll start reading it!
In this case Superman’strue weakness is really bad art.

to me it really seems like a filler book that they gave the writer and artist a week to do.
and AGAIN this is filler.
Maybe its to shore up his secret identity when he returns to Metropolis. Clark Kent will return with a T-Shirt that says, “The Internet is my Bitch!”
And by Internet, he means 4Chan.

In his defense, the internet is what has allowed legions of fans free reign to rail against everything they hate about comics. So Superman might be on to something and remarkably clairvoyant.
Im going to have to re-read that issue, I dont remember the art being THAT bad…I really want to say that panel is just a one-off.
Come on guys, Supes is clearly sarcastically mocking Perry’s livelihood since The Internet destroyed the newspaper business (which Superman failed to prevent, by the way.) And Perry looks shocked and appalled that Superman would so brazenly and callously hurt him so. It also serves to throw him way off the scent of thinking Clark Kent is Superman

I expect the internet could turn Superman into The Plutonian pretty quick.
i cant believe this is from a relativly recent comic. wow, i love superman but that line is hard to swallow….ouch. lol
