For nearly 20 years Erik Larsen and Savage Dragon has been one of my favorite creators and creator owned books.  I was initially drawn to the action that Larsen brought with his dynamic artwork, but as the years have gone on, I've come to appreciate Larsen's sense of humor as well.  A little offbeat and definitely tongue in cheek, Larsen has brought some refreshing laughs over the years.

Over the past year Larsen has shared his sense of humor with some of the most talented indie creators, involving them to do their send ups of Larsen's universe of characters from Savage Dragon.  Running as backups in Savage Dragon, the Twisted Savage Dragon Funnies were some fantastic short stories with immense talent behind them.  Creators like Brandon Graham, Jim Rugg, Joe Keatinge, Benjamin Marra, Dean Haspiel, Vito Delsante, Simon Fraser, Tom Scioli and a ton more!
