EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW: Green Lantern Corps #3

Guy and John may not be suited for civilian life, but that doesn’t make life in the Corps much of a cakewalk either. Especially when your enemy’s power set renders yours green constructs about as devastating as a spitball in a hurricane. The math isn’t great either, as the wagons begin to circle on a dead world far from home.

Such is the situation next week in the ongoing cosmic cop drama known as Green Lantern Corps by Peter Tomasi and Geraldo Borges. Things look pretty dire, and given the knowledge that power ring mojo isn’t going to deliver anybody from evil, only one question remains. Who’s Butch and who’s Sundance?

Cover by ALEX GARNER

Things go from bad to worse as Guy Gardner and John Stewart’s squad of Green Lanterns is vastly outnumbered by the Intruders, a force that knows how to neutralize any green ring’s power. And these invaders have made it abundantly clear: this is personal.

DC Comics was sweet enough to send along an exclusive preview of the issue, featuring art by Borges and Scott Hanna. Plus a grim cover image from Alex Garner!

  1. I haven’t read any of the new GL Corps. Bedard’s awful run has killed off any interest I had in the title. Anyone picking this up?

    • Reading a friend’s copies… It’s not too awful, but I don’t like it much either. I’m glad I don’t buy it anyway.

    • I personally think GLC is the best of the GL titles. Its essentially Tomasi continuing on as if he never left the title, so if you enjoyed GLC before Bedard took over, and/or Emerald Warriors, you should like this.

    • I agree with Blargo this is the best of the GL books.
