Stepping out on Sunday to attend the Trevor Live event at the Palladium in Hollywood, Emma Stone gave us all the first look of her "new" Gwen Stacy hair.
I say "new" because Emma Stone, noted for her firery red hair, is in fact a natural blonde. She looks a hell of a lot like Gwen Stacy in the above picture. It's almost freaky. More pictures are JustJared.

She’s great, and I like that the look there is kind of retro. Appropriate for Gwen.
I feel like there’s a pretty blank canvas to develop Gwen’s character since there wasn’t too much of her in the original comics. (I know she’s in Ultimate but not sure how large of a role. . .) This casting is a step in the right direction!

Big fan. I was a doubter but I think she pulls this off quite nicely. Much better than the (shudder) Spider-Man 3 Gwen Stacey.

Not to be an asshole, but… that still looks like Mary Jane to me. Either way, she’s amazingly gorgeous and a good actor, so everything will be fine.

the resemblence is ridiculous! like she came right off the page! I really think emma stone is beautiful and has something about her i find very appealing, i always thought part of it was to do my fondness for ladies of the ginger persuasion, but she is just as beautiful as a blonde!
She’s superb, but she still looks to me like a blonde Mary Jane.
@JMann I just read through Amazing on disc and I dont think Gwen and Mary Jane look too different on page aside from the hair. They seemed to knock it out of the park with Emma as Gwen and I find Garfield to look a lot like a real life Peter Parker (once he bulks up I assume he’ll look even better) so it would be interesting to see who they go with if they bring MJ in at some point.
I’m gonna miss the red hair. =(
