Free Comic Book Day has become an institution, and this year's giveaway is scheduled for May 7. If you want to really show your support, how about grabbing one of these t-shirts designed by Darwyn Cooke, which will be available in comic shops starting in April.
It's pop and it's bright, and it's Darwyn doing what Darwyn does better than almost anyone, capturing the essence of what makes these classic DC characters so special. Why's he doing this?
“Comic shops are special,” said creator Darwyn Cooke. “They're a communal destination for people who love comics and comics culture to meet and share the love. As we communicate more and more electronically, we may become aware of how special a thing this is.”
You'll be able to get the shirt in orange, denim blue, and black, from size small to XXL. They can be preordered from the January issue of Previews.

It’s funny to see Wonder Woman saying, “DC”. Hal’s blowing away the shop owner for giving him the regular cover when he ordered the variant. Aquaman’s lookin at this kid and thinking “I wonder if he’s related to Black Manta.”

Already ordered one through DCBS. Honestly, seeing Darwyn Cooke’s name was enough to get me to buy it, sight unseen. This just makes it worth the money
