Batwoman Comes to San Francisco: JH Williams III & W. Haden Blackman Appear At Isotope

To help celebrate The New 52, DC Comics has kicked off several fantastic in store appearances by many of their creators at comic book stores across the country. As part of the DC Comics: The New 52 Art Tour, Cliff Chiang and his Wonder Woman art appeared at Bergen St. Comics in Brooklyn, Doug Mahnke and his Green Lantern art appeared at Source Comics in Minnesota, and Yanick Paquette and his Swamp Thing art appeared at Millenium Comics in Montreal.  Next stop on DC Comics The New 52 Art Tour schedule brings J.H. Williams III, W. Haden Blackman and the art of Batwoman to my current city of residence, San Francisco at the legendary Isotope Comics.

Of course, any event at Isotope Comics is no ordinary event. Isotope proprietors James Sime and Kirsten Baldock recently announced the Batwoman event on the Isotope Comics website and unveiled the amazing details. On December 3rd, 2011, not only will there be the stunning original artwork from Batwoman on display (and some for sale), but there will be an all-ages signing at Isotope from 3 PM to 6 PM. Then later that evening, beginning at 8 PM there will be an afterparty for the 21 and over crowd.  Attendees of the afterparty will get the ultra exclusive original J.H. Williams III Pirate Girl Pin-Up Highball glass (shown below). This is the only time or place that you’ll be able to get this limited edition piece of art designed by J.H. Williams III himself.

The whole shindig is December 3rd at Isotope Comics at 326 Fell St. in San Francisco, and tickets for the afterparty are already on sale. So if you’re in the SF Bay Area, you do not want to miss this chance to get your Batwoman comics signed by the creative team, see some of the amazing original art, and also get the limited edition glass and share a cocktail with some of comics brightest stars!

Event details can be found at the Isotope Comics website.

Comments

  1. Sometimes, just sometimes, I really wish I lived on the West Coast.

  2. Someday I’ll go to SF so I can swim with the great whites around the Farallon Islands and later pop by a party event at the Isotope to drink my rum n’ coke in one of those fine glasses. I would really really love a JHW3 glass though. 🙁

  3. I don’t drink, but I wouldn’t mind taking a shot from that glass.

  4. I’m soooooo excited!! This is gonna be awesome.

  5. Tickets bought. Yes!
