Add Another to DC – Garney Goes Exclusive

The ongoing war between Marvel and DC continues, as DC announced today that artist Ron Garney went exclusive to DC for two years Garney last worked on Uncanny X-Men for Marvel and his first assignment for DC will be a JLA arc.
Now, everyone knows I’m a serious fan of Ron Garney- have been for years. I have to say, Marvel really dropped the ball on this guy. He could have been a John Byrne level talent on his run of Uncanny X-Men, but inconsistent writing and their need to push some Japanese artist, who absolutlely blew by the way, and now there’s no chance of an extended run on my favorite book. Good thing I buy JLA, so I can get my taste of Garney’s clean lines and smooth pencils.
